Uterine Prolapse
Uterine prolapse is a life threatening medical emergency. Please take time to understand the difference between a uterine prolapse versus a vaginal prolapse. In order for an animal to have a uterine prolapse, there has to be a newborn(s) delivered. If there is a vaginal bulge of pink tissue and there is NOT a new born, it is a vaginal prolapse. If you have a uterine prolapse, please confine the animal so it cannot move and call your veterinarian immediately.
