Bovine lameness has a very heavy impact on production. Cattle at that limping or are lame carry a tremendous amount of stress. High pain, high stress, releases cortisol into circulation. Coritsol decrease immunity allowing secondary bacterial infections to invade. Not only does this increase the chances of conditions like Bovine Respiratory Disease (BRD), it also decreases reproductive performance

Bovine Lameness and Hoof Care

Cosmetic Dehorn – sometimes we can’t control maternal and paternal physical characteristics. Show cattle cannot enter the ring with horns. These calves heal and perform very well.
